The 2010 Provincial Annual Training Conference on Friday April 30th to May 1st, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Airport West, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Some changes have been made, (not of course to the fun and adventure plans) however we did listen to you, the Guider. Friday night is low key with some activities being planned by Bishop Grandin Area and the start of Standard First Aid training at the provincial office. Saturday will be jam packed with sessions, Annual Meeting, Award Banquet and Provincial hospitality room. Sunday is left up to you. We have added some sessions to be held at the provincial office and Fort Whyte Alive, as well as the launch of the Manitoba Council Archives exhibit at the Manitoba Museum.
In order to reduce the amount of paper we would normally use to send out the provincial annual book, we have e-mailed it to those who have e-mail addresses in iMIS and snail mailed it to the rest (we have saved an entire tree by doing this!). If you need a hard copy, please contact your Area office or the provincial office.
If you would like to fill out the registration form electronically (saving you paper and a stamp to send it in) you can do so by filling it out, saving it and then sending it to Monika at mtheissen@girlguides.mb.ca. The SG1 and SG2 are also available online.
Anyone wishing to sign up for the First Aid, Canoeing or Training courses should contact Monika to register your attendance. Payment for those courses that require payment still need to be made to the facilitator as per the annual book. First come, first served for those sessions with maximums (also outlined in the book).
If you are interested in booking a guest room for the Annual, you can contact the Holiday Inn at any time, using the code GGC.
