The focus of the program is to introduce girls
of all ages to new experiences and challenges. This encourages
them not only to succeed to the best of their current abilities, but also to expand
the boundaries of those abilities.
The Girl Guide program is designed to promote the ideals expressed in the
Promise and Law and to meet those principles. It provides challenging activities
that are appropriate to various ages and experience, and consists of hands on activities
based on many interests. These activities help the girls become creative, resourceful
and self-reliant while allowing them to develop self-discipline and personal values.
Program Committee Roles:
- helps Guiders with resources and provides ideas on ways to present the program
- plans and holds events designed to help girls complete parts of the program
- forwards changes made within the program by the National Development Service to
unit Guiders
