Hiking, camping and outdoor activities are the
highlight of Guiding for most girls. As they move from Sparks to Rangers, they learn
to feel at ease with nature, enjoy the fun and friendship which are a part of camping
and learn to live comfortably in the outdoors.
For the Guider, the joy of discovering the outdoors is started indoors and then
leads to cookouts, hikes and eventually camping. Workshops are provided so that
the Guider can develop skills needed for outdoor activities and camping.
Camping Committee Roles
- coordinates camping & outdoor activities throughout the province
